Anti-bark collars
There are many types of anti-bark collars on the market, most of which are battery operated and activated by your dog's barking. Our experience tells us that virtually all dogs respond to anti-bark collars but different dogs suit different collars so you might find buy or hire service very useful in ascertaining the right collar for your dog. A dog may be man's best friend, but excessive barking certainly tests the relationship - and neighbours can and ARE taking action which results in heavy fines. Noise abatement orders are commonplace. AREA BARK CONTROL. Help create a bark free zone in a room with this free standing unit. Emits a loud ultrasonic sound that you cannot hear buts dogs can. Suitable for more than one dog in the room but multiple dogs barking may need a stronger deterrent. SONIC SILENCER. The Sonic Silencer detects the dog's bark and delivers a high-pitched noise to dissuade your dog from barking. STATIC CORRECTION ANTI-BARK COLLAR (pictured above on the little Bichon) This type of collar gives a static like correction (similar to the static you receive from a car door in summer) to dogs who bark often and it is this model that our customers have reported 100% effective, especially to deter persistent barkers. Barking is often habit formed and difficult to stop, especially on dogs that are allowed access to gardens/land which they deem to be their territory. The static bark control collar we supply uses a safe, humane, battery operated correction to effectively control unwanted barking. A nylon, fully adjustable collar is supplied to fit all dogs and the correction device attached to the collar is only 3cms x 4cms (approximately). The device is fully automatic and the correction level increases with each successive bark, so although your dog can bark once or twice to warn you of visitors, it is stopped from continuous barking by the action of the correction increase. PLEASE NOTE. If you have more than one dog and they are kept together the wearer of the collar might receive corrections unfairly when other dogs bark if close by.
